News from Racelogic Ltd - Oct 2007

Racelogic Ltd, manufacturers of the world-renowned VBOX range of GPS-based performance analysers and data loggers, are pleased to announce the introduction of the CAN based Mini Input Module. It is a general purpose input/output module designed for use by either a VBOX or as a CAN linked general purpose input module.

The VBOX Mini Input Module (MIM01) features a number of Inputs including 8 x 14 bit Analogue inputs, 1 x Low-Tension RPM input, 1 x Wheel Speed Sensor input, 1 x Digital Input for event marking and 2 x K-Type thermocouple interfaces. When used in conjunction with the VBOX mini, the unit also features a digital and an analogue output.

A supply input range of 6V – 30VDC, 1.5W (typical), combined with the rugged yet small, lightweight construction and simple installation procedure, means that the MIM01 is ideally suited for use in many applications including cars, bikes, off road vehicles and boats. Connections to and from the MIM01 are made via a removable screw terminal.
